Licorice Roots

Originating from the northwestern region of Uzbekistan, specifically Karakalpakstan, licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) belongs to the legume family and boasts an illustrious history in traditional medicine. Revered for its exceptional medicinal properties, licorice root holds a prominent place in Asian markets, particularly in Chinese traditional medicine. Today, it has found its way into a wide array of products, including drugs, cosmetics, whole foods, and animal feed.

To ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations set by the Republic of Uzbekistan, every step of the licorice production process undergoes meticulous scrutiny. From plantation to manufacturing, strict rules and quality control analyses are implemented, guaranteeing the purity and potency of the licorice roots.

Processing Journey of Licorice Roots:

The journey of licorice roots begins with their careful harvest after a four-year cultivation period. These raw roots are meticulously collected from licorice plants flourishing in the northwestern part of Uzbekistan. To ensure purity and quality, the collected roots undergo a thorough cleaning process, removing any impurities or debris.

Once cleaned, the licorice roots are carefully dried to preserve their medicinal properties and flavor. This drying process is carried out with utmost precision in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in the same region of Uzbekistan. The dried licorice roots are then meticulously packed, ensuring their freshness and integrity.

Licorice roots are made available in various forms to cater to different industry requirements. These include bales, sliced roots, manually collected roots, extracts, granules, and powder forms. Each form offers unique advantages and versatility for different applications.
